Stan Sellers of Discovered Assets LLC.

    I’ve been interested in marketing since I was a child. I can remember being in 4th grade and being an avid reader of Entrepreneur Magazine. In high school and college I worked in telemarketing rooms full of people "smiling and dialing" on push button telephones. I worked at raising donations, selling AAA memberships and worked for a guy running ads in 17 newspapers for his discount travel memberships. After moving to Oregon in 1994 I worked full time selling family friendly videos for a film production company.

 

    At one point a friend and I tried selling magazine subscriptions via Valpak direct mail packages & telemarketing. Later I got into marketing for homes using bandit signs and worked as a mortgage broker. I used direct mail followed up with automated email campaigns full of useful information. After the 2008 sub-prime crisis, I spent my last decade in Oregon working as a Medicaid Provider for adults with developmental disabilities. I built a website, created a brochure and worked through the system to win customers. My marketing was on a personal level with my customers, their families and the provider network I worked with. 

 

    During this time I became a glass artist working with kilns to fuse glass into functional art glass products. I rediscovered some old world techniques for creating art glass that I branded "TieDyeGlass" and built my first website - TieDyeGlass.com. I began learning about the importance of keywords and content in internet marketing and how everything worked together. Later I sold my handmade art glass works on Amazon, Etsy and EBay until my 1000 square foot studio burned down in 2020.

 

    In the last few years I’ve become interested in search and social media advertising campaigns and how those can be used to deliver quality inbound calls to businesses worldwide. The pay per call industry solves many of the problems associated with marketing campaigns by delivering high quality, intent driven, inbound calls from consumers who are ready to make a purchase. So rather than bothersome outbound marketing efforts, consumers see ads on their mobile devices and can simply click to make an inbound call to get the help they need.
